School privatization is a hot topic these days.  Unfortunately many of the debates about public education ignore the important role of school support services and the people who do the work—the bus drivers, cafeteria workers, custodians, and the list goes on.

In the Public Interest has published a new guide, Making the Grade? Questions to Ask About School Services Privatization, that helps those who care about public education understand the impacts outsourcing these services have on our children and communities. 

We feel that this useful tool should be in the hands of every policymaker, school leader, education advocate, and parent.
