Research and Policy Analyst
Benjamin Davis joined In the Public Interest in January 2015 and conducts research and policy analysis for the organization’s campaigns on criminal justice and responsible contracting. Previously, he worked for Frontier Group, where he wrote reports on state spending transparency, public transportation, and environmental protections. His research has been featured in hundreds of outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, NPR, The Economist, The Atlantic, and The Guardian. Benjamin also has experience directing field offices for GOTV and environmental citizen outreach campaigns. He holds a B.A. from U.C. Berkeley in Development Studies.
