California’s public school students, parents, educators, and school personnel need your help supporting SB 756 before this Wednesday, April 24, when the Senate Education Committee holds a hearing on the bill.

SB 756, authored by Sen. Maria Elena Durazo, would enact a five-year moratorium on new charter schools so that state leaders can fix California’s broken charter school laws.

Here’s how you can make your voice heard:

  1. Find your senator
  2. Find your senator’s contact info below.
  3. Email or call before Wednesday morning.
  4. In your email or call, introduce yourself as a constituent, let them know where you live, and tell them that you support SB 756 because all students, regardless of zip code, deserve a great education.
